I wanted to give my 2nd graders a way to remember the color wheel so we made it out of fruit. I found this idea on the KinderArt website and adjusted it a little. I directed the students in their drawing and showed them how to color the pictures to give them some shape. Some of the fruit ended up really small, but sometimes you can only do so much. :o)

I love my 2nd grade class. There are only 9 of them and they love anything we do in art class.
